The Commissioner of Police Kano State  revealed that the Kano Police Command rescued four kidnap victims and two human trafficking victims.

Kano State police have arrested 132 suspects for alleged kidnapping, armed robbery, and illicit drug dealing in two months. The command has arrested 65 suspected thugs, 22 suspected thieves, 25 suspected drug dealers, 11 kidnapping suspects, and nine suspected illegal Forex hawkers. They also arrested motor vehicle thieves, motorcycle thieves, tricycle thieves, human trafficking suspects, and suspected fraudsters. The state has significantly reduced major crimes, such as armed robbery, kidnapping, cattle rustling, car theft, drug dealings, and thuggery. The command has also engaged with sister security services in raids and joint operations to reduce banditry, kidnapping, and related crimes.
